Hi, I'm new to Tibco Spotfire Viz. Completed initial anlaysis using the tool and would like to share the dashboard with others. Flag as Inappropriate. It will be in edit mode so you will see a black toolbar above your dashboard. You can decide later if you want the people you share with to modify the dashboard and create their own versions or if you just want them to interact with your dashboard as is.
Click Save in the upper left hand corner of the toolbar and select Save As If you are ok with your dashboard being public and available to anyone you can select save the file in the default public folder. This is the quickest option because it does not require the people who view the file to have a Spotfire Cloud Acccount.

Sounds easy, right? Yesterday actually means from am yesterday morning to am of this morning. I needed to use Spotfire date and time functions. This small challenge took me long enough to figure out that I thought it warranted a blog post. Since there were only 4 visualizations, I planned on using data limiting with expressions. I knew how to complete steps 1 and 4.
Steps 2 and 3 would take a bit of trial and error. Here is the final working expression. I had a little bit of trouble with the DateTime function at first. I used the help function to get an example calculation. They were. I had to enter all 7 arguments to get it to work, but it did exactly what I needed.
